In 2018, for the second year in a row, the University of Pennsylvania ranked the Wilson Center as the number one regional studies think tank in the world. In addition, the Center was rated #1 for institutional collaboration.
The Latin American Program, founded in 1977, is dedicated to bridging the gap between scholarship and public policy. The Program provides non-partisan expertise to a broad community of decision makers in the United States and Latin America concerning critical policy issues facing the Western Hemisphere. It maintains strong relationships with institutions, companies, and individuals throughout the region aimed at deepening mutual understanding and improving policy outcomes.
