Wilson Center Mourns the Death of Mohamad Chatah

The Wilson Center is deeply saddened by the horrific death of Mohamad Chatah, Lebanon's former Finance Minister and Ambassador to the U.S.  

Minister Chatah was a friend of the Wilson Center, having last spoken here in September 2012 on what he called the "major regional drama" unfolding in the Middle East.  

He has now joined countless others as the victims of this ongoing tragedy.  Woodrow Wilson once said that peace will be a continuing labor, and we urge all sides to pursue just that.
