The Islamic population in Europe occupies a special, if little understood, place among the 1-3 billion people who comprise the world's Muslim community. Resident in Lands that regard then warily, often without gainful employment, and culturally offended by much that surrounds them; these young people may turn to violent rejection of the west in years ahead.
