Overview

The Brazil-U.S. Business Council is pleased to host a roundtable discussion with Jorge Ávila, President of the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI). Dr. Ávila will discuss INPI's priorities in combating piracy in Brazil including specific projects linked the upcoming World Cup and Olympic Games. He will also discuss INPI's endeavors to expedite the issuance of trademarks and patents in Brazil, and the role of innovation to Brazil's economic development.

This event will not take place at the Wilson Center.
