Full Biography

Dr. Sigrid Arzt is CEO-founder consulting firm (PRIVA) DATA, that specializes in national security, transparency, accountability, anticorruption, privacy, political analysis, media training and crisis management.

Dr. Arzt is a former national commissioner at the  Instituto Federal de Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos (IFAI) from 2009-2014.

Dr. Arzt was the first woman appointed as Technical Secretary at the National Security Council under President Felipe Calderón (2006-2009). Dr. Arzt has also worked at the civilian intelligence agency Centro de Investigación y Seguridad Nacional (CISEN) as an advisor on international matters (2002-2003) and was tecnical secretary to the Attorney General´s Office in 1994-1996.

Dr. Arzt has taught at the Centro de Estudios del Ejército y Fuerza Aérea (CEEFA) and Centro de Estudios Superiores Navales (CESNAV), as well as, the prominent universities of Ibero, Escuela Libre de Derecho, CIDE and ITAM.
