Latin American Program in the News: Opposition Fails to Maintain Momentum in Venezuela

"ERIC OLSON: The opposition really faces some major challenges to not just maintain what they had on the streets, which is difficult, but actually demonstrate that it's spreading it's growing, they're moving beyond their base. So far, there's very little evidence of that."

Eric L. Olson, Associate Director of the Latin American Program, spoke on the morning edition of NPR about the crisis in Venezuela and the current situatio of the opposition. He says that the opposition has been unable to demonstrate that their movement is growing and about the major challenges they face to maintain it.
