Paper proposals are being sought for the conference "China’s Northwest and its Relations with its Neighbors during the Cold War," to be held at Xinjiang Normal University, Urumqi, China, from October 10-15, 2014.

Paper selection procedures:
Interested scholars should send their academic bio (in both Chinese and English with photo), a 300-500 word abstract (including title, sources and main arguments of paper), and contact information to Liang Zhi (firstname.lastname@example.org); or Cao Meng (email@example.com) before the end of April 2014.Those who pass the first round of selection will be notified by the end of May. Full conference papers will be due (including paper titles and abstract in both Chinese and English) by the end of July.
Cost and Fee: Participants will pay their own transportation to and from the conference; Xinjiang Normal University will pay for room/board during the conference.
