Statement on Rescinded Awards to Viktor F. Vekselberg and Petr Aven

The Wilson Center would like to announce that, due to recent sanctions by the U.S. Government related to Russia’s war on Ukraine, it is rescinding and no longer recognizes previous awards given to:

Viktor F. Vekselberg,
The Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service in 2007

Petr Aven
The Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship in 2015
