This conference shifted the focus to Argentine foreign policy and examined the economic aspects of Argentina's foreign relations.

Conference participants for the first panel, "Repositioning Argentina in The World: a Roundtable Discussion" included Rogelio Pfiter, undersecretary, Argentine Ministry of ; Gerard Gallucci, Southern Cone director, State Department; Ana Barón, North American correspondent for the Argentine journal Clarín; and Judith Evans, JE Analítica.

Participants for the second panel, "Getting Out of the Economic Crisis" included Pedro Lacoste, economist, Executive President, APL Consultores; Robert Devlin, director, Interamerican Development Bank; Martín Granovsky, journalist, Pagina 12; Moisés Naim, Foreign Policy; and Arturo Valenzuela, professor at Georgetown University and public consultant.
