Overview

Each year, every Cesar Chavez High School senior class scholar presents and defends thesis findings on some of our nation’s most pressing public policy issues. This process is the culminating event of their high school experience and three students are chosen to present their thesis at the Public Policy Symposium. Senior Scholars to present & defend thesis findings on the following topics: Felon Disenfranchisement, Guantanamo Bay, Urban Education Reform.

This event will take place at the Rafik B. Hariri Building | Lohrfink Auditorium, Georgetown University.

This event is co-sponsored with Georgetown University and will be moderated by Claudio Sanchez, Correspondent, Education, National Desk, NPR.
