Civil Discourse and A Grand Bargain - Lee Hamilton Lecture Series
The Honorable James A. Baker, III will deliver an address titled "Civil Discourse and A Grand Bargain" as part of the Lee Hamilton Lecture Series.
Overview
The Lee Hamilton Lecture Series was established in honor of Lee H. Hamilton, who served as the Woodrow Wilson Center’s President and Director from 1998–2010. During his 12 years of service following his career in Congress, Lee Hamilton became familiar to scholars, leaders, and policymakers around the globe. He championed the most pressing issues relevant to forward-thinking world citizens and to those who grapple with those same issues, first-hand, in their daily lives. Under his direction, the Center has become universally respected as one of the world’s preeminent nonpartisan, public policy organizations. The aim of The Hamilton Lecture Series is to improve continually the quality of public policy debate on major challenges facing the United States and the world.
