Kennan Institute Central Asia Series

The Kennan Institute and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States and Canada invite you to an evening reception and jazz performance to mark the anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence, as well as the launch of the Institute’s fall series of programming on Central Asian culture.

In what is now a tradition, the Kyrgyz jazz band Salt Peanuts, one of Central Asia's best jazz ensembles, will help Kennan kick off its fall event programming as the first stop in a U.S. tour that includes shows at the famous DC jazz club Blues Alley as well as Birdland in New York City.

Please continue to look for additional events and updates to our Central Asia Series.
