Private Enterprise Engagement in the Rule of Law
Overview
A Justice Sector Training, Research and Coordination Symposium Convened by the Rule of Law Collaborative at the University of South Carolina in coordination with The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars
This public symposium will convene corporate and private foundation leaders, policymakers, and others to discuss the span of engagements between private enterprise and the rule of law. The symposium will delve into how private enterprise has also spurred better governance and the development of substantive laws within the countries in which they operate as rule of law architects. The symposium will also offer various case studies in more traditional rule of law engagement from private foundations and public-private partnerships aimed at advancing the rule of law.
