A respected educator and a highly cited global academic and scholar, Dr Gurumurthy Kalyanaram is a well-received policy and management consultant and an expert witness in complex litigation disputes. He got his Ph.D from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Management Science and Industrial Organization Economics. He has served as the Adviser, Dean, Director, Department Head and Professor at various universities globally including in US, Japan, and India.

As a scholar and as a commentator on management science, economics, public policy, law and adjudication of disputes and lawsuits, Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram has lectured at many universities including City University of New York, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, International University of Japan, Jiang Xi University of Finance, St. Petersburg University, and The London School of Economics.

Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram has been a scholar at the prestigious Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a fellow at the Center for Russian and East European Studies, and a member of Texas Strategic Economic Development Commission.

Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram has consulted with governments and universities globally, and major corporations including AT&T, American Airlines, Booz-Allen and Hamilton, General Foods, International Data Corporation, Iridium, Nortel, Raytheon TI Systems, Rockwell International, Sega, and Texas Instruments, Inc. He serves on the board of Signion Systems, Inc. Dr. Kalyanaram has lectured on strategic and economic issues in many countries including Canada, China, India, Russia, and Slovenia.

Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram has been recognized by MIT with the Harold Lobdell Jr. Award, and Honor Roll Listing (2020 and 2021) for his contributions to the Institute and its Alumni/ae, including his leadership as an Education Counselor. He has also been recognized as an Outstanding Alumnus by National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, India. He has also been listed in Global Who’s Who, and Who’s Who in US.
