John Goheen is considered one of America’s premier visual storytellers, having won more than 300 local, regional, and national awards during his 37-year career. John is the first three-time winner of television’s top award for photojournalism, the National Press Photographers Association’s Television News Photographer of the Year. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Joseph A. Sprague Memorial Award, considered amongst the highest recognition a television photojournalist can receive.  John has traveled to over 100 countries to photograph major stories and world events, often working alone in harsh conditions. When not producing stories, John is a professor at Loyola University Chicago where he teaches a variety of film/video production courses.
