Full Biography
Manuela Jiménez is from Bogotá, Colombia, and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Psychology, a B.A. in Criminology, and a minor in Philosophy. After graduation, she began writing an academic paper on the creation of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace and the impact this entity has had on the polarization of Colombians. Manuela is interested in issues related to law and justice in Latin America, particularly political and social conflicts, and is an advocate for equality and social justice. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and painting.
