Ambassador Mark Brzezinski is a Managing Director at Makena Capital Management, LLC, assisting in the development of environmentally and socially responsible investment portfolios. He led the White House Arctic Executive Steering Committee (AESC), established by President Obama in 2015 to enhance coordination of Arctic efforts across the federal government. He served as US Ambassador to Sweden from 2011 to 2015, where he made the Arctic a central focus of his tenure.
