Full Biography

Natalia Zepeda has been with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) since 2014 as the National Project Coordinator in El Salvador and has experience coordinating and managing two migrant programs: “Post Arrival Assistance” (2014-2016) and “Return and Reintegration” in El Salvador. Ms. Zepeda has also worked as Chief of Knowledge Management in the Solidarity Fund for Health (FOSALUD) in El Salvador from 2012-2014.  She attended a specialization course in "Organized Crime as a Spoiler for Lasting Peace" with the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution and worked as a freelance journalist and with the Audiovisual Department at the Central American University (UCA). Zepeda received an Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in International Humanitarian Action with a specialty in Peace Building at the University of Deusto, Spain. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Communications and Journalism at the UCA.
