Nora Shuler is a development executive with nearly two decades of experience helping global policy institutions grow their reach and impact through strategic fundraising, international partnerships, and high-level stakeholder engagement. She currently serves as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the Wilson Center, where she leads fundraising strategy, cultivates major donors, and supports executive leadership and governance, including serving as Secretary to the Board of Trustees & Wilson National Cabinet.

 

Nora is recognized for strengthening philanthropic networks, supporting effective governance, and advancing institutional initiatives on a global scale. She has played a key role in expanding the Wilson Center’s international reputation, overseeing relationship development with leaders in government, diplomatic organizations, and academia. She has also organized prominent and influential convenings in the U.S. and around the world. Previously, Nora held senior development and events roles at the Brookings Institution, where she managed donor relations and major institutional events.

 

Nora is originally from Washington, DC, where she attended Georgetown Visitation. She is a graduate of The George Washington University.
