Full Biography

Olga Klimova, Ph.D., is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Pittsburgh where she teaches Russian culture and language courses.  She had also taught at Brock University, Mercyhurst University, Chatham University, and Washington and Jefferson College.  She has been on the organizing committee of Russian Film Symposium at the University of Pittsburgh since 2006 and also participated in organizing or/and programming Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival and Silk Screen Asian American Film Festival in Pittsburgh.  Her articles, encyclopedia entries, and film reviews have appeared in The Soviet and PostSoviet ReviewKinokulturaSEEJ, and other academic publications.
