    About the speaker: Pamela Constable, a Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center in 2010, serves as a South Asia correspondent for the Washington Post. She has been covering South Asia since 1999, and spent four years as the Post’s bureau chief for the region, stationed in New Delhi and Kabul. Earlier, she spent nine years as the Latin America correspondent for the Boston Globe, and served as journalist-in-residence at the Pew International Journalism Program at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. Constable is the author of the 2004 book Fragments of Grace: My Search for Meaning in the Strife of South Asia, which reflects on her experiences covering South Asia.
