    Full Biography

    Sophia has over 25 years of experience in auditing financial statements prepared under Russian statutory (RAS), international (IFRS) and US GAAP financial reporting standards.

    In addition to her role at EY, she is an Entrepreneurial Winning Women Program Leader, mentor for the Women’s Leadership Forum, member of Women Friendly Company, a member of the Supervisory Board at PRO Women and a member of the Global Diversity & Inclusiveness Steering Committee.

    She has participated in numerous engagements for a broad array of clients operating in various industry sectors.

    Sophia graduated from Queen Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a specialization in Audit and Commercial Law.

    Sophia is a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.

    Since 2013 Sophia has led the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women Program, which unites over 300 successful women and works to support entrepreneurial women and promote women in the business world.

    Sophia vigorously promotes women’s leadership, speaking at forums and conferences such as Woman Who Matters (founder and leader: Anna Roudakova), the Women Leadership Forum (founder and leader: Svetlana Landa). She is also engaged in many events by Opora Rossii, Delovaya Rossiya, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the EY Women. Fast forward initiative led by Julie Teigland, EY EMEIA Area Managing Partner. Sophia is a mentor in the Women Leadership Forum and a member of the Women Friendly Company. She is also a member of the board of trustees of PRO Women сommunity (powered by the Rybakov Foundation).
