Full Biography
Vakarchuk is a social activist, lead vocalist for Okean Elzy, and former member of the Verkhovna Rada parliamentary committee for freedom of speech questions. As an activist, he supported the Orange Revolution and is founder of the non-profit “Lyudi Maybutnyogo” (People of the Future). He holds a degree in theoretical physics and has released eight studio albums with his band.
