Thomas R. Reedy is Chairman of iTRACS Corporation. Prior to this position, Mr. Reedy was President and Chief Executive Officer since September 1, 2000. In his capacity as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Reedy was responsible for the verall operation of the company and the execution of the business strategy for the commercialization of the iTRACS Solution.iTRACS Corporation is a leading provider of Network Infrastructure Management Solutions for enterprises and service providers. Through its proprietary product iTRACS, the Corporation is capable of extending logical layer Network Management Tools to incorporate and automate the physical layer. iTRACS is a totally open system and is both hardware and software independent. The iTRACS Solution allows any organization to reduce network downtime and increase the overall productivity and control of its network.Prior to joining iTRACS, Mr. Reedy was Managing Director of Chicago Capital Markets for First Union Securities, Inc. Reedy was responsible for the firms' Chicago office, including activities in equities, investment banking, research, municipal securities and taxable fixed income securities. First Union Securities is one of the largest brokerage firms in the country and is owned by Wachovia Corporation, a $320 billion dollar institution and the fourth largest bank in the United States.Reedy joined First Union upon its acquisition of EVEREN Securities, Inc. in October 1999. At EVEREN, he was responsible for all of Capital Markets and was also on the Board of Directors and the Operating Committee of the firm. In addition to his Capital Markets responsibilities at EVEREN, Reedy was part of a small group of individuals who orchestrated and arranged financing for the buyout of Kemper Securities, Inc. (predecessor firm to EVEREN) from Kemper Corporation in September 1995. This group was also responsible for the successful IPO of EVEREN Capital Corporation in October 1996. Finally, Reedy was a key leader in the sale of EVEREN to First Union for $1.2 billion in October 1999. This represented a sales price of more than 16 times the original ESOP investment for employees in EVEREN and more than 3.5 times the IPO price to investors.Reedy joined EVEREN Securities' predecessor firm, Bunt Ellis & Loewi, in 1988 as a Senior Vice President responsible for the investment banking and research areas of the fixed-income department. Reedy began his brokerage career in New York as a member of PaineWebber's public finance department. He later joined Drexel Burnham Lambert in New York as Vice President of structured finance. In 1987, he joined the Chicago office E.F. Hutton & Company as a First Vice President and Regional Manager of its Midwest investment banking department.Reedy is a certified public accountant, certified managerial accountant, registered representative, municipal representative, municipal principal and general securities principal. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Illinois State University and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Michigan.Mr. Reedy was appointed by President William Jefferson Clinton in 1999 to serve a six-year term on the Board of Trustees of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Reedy is also on the Board of Directors of a number of other charitable and corporate organizations, as well as a member of numerous professional organizations.
