CWIHP Director Christian Ostermann delivered the inaugural lecture in The Cold War in Southeast Asia seminar series in Singapore on The Cold War: New Approaches and Findings.

Organized by the National University of Singapore, the History Channel, the Asia Research Institute, and the National Library Board, the public lecture series aims to shed light upon important questions surrounding the Cold War in Southeast Asia.

On September 23, Ostermann also presented recent findings from the North Korea International Documentation Project's September 8 conference Crisis and Confrontation on the Korean Peninsula: 1968-1969 at the Asia Research Institute.
