Welcome to the Wilson Center’s New Website

The new website makes it easy to browse and search, and to read, watch, and listen to all of the great publications, events, and programming the Center’s staff and scholars produce each week. Director, President, and CEO Jane Harman walks through what’s new and different.

Welcome to the Wilson Center’s New Website

When I left Congress to lead the Wilson Center in February, my goal was to create a safe political space for nonpartisan discussion of the toughest policy choices of the day and to do so by reaching the widest range of participants through the latest in communications technology. Building on a strong legacy, our newly designed website is a centerpiece in our efforts to launch what we call Wilson 3.0.

The website makes it easy to browse and search, and to read, watch, and listen to all of the great publications, events, and programming the Center’s staff and scholars produce each week. So what’s new and different?

  • Easy-to-use tabs allow you to browse the site by Topic, Region, or Program. Our improved search lets you quickly find what you’re looking for, whether it’s news, an event, a publication, an expert, or multimedia.
  • The site will highlight our new focus on the most relevant cross-cutting issues and challenges facing the nation and the world.
  • It’s now easier than ever to find an expert on a particular issue of interest or region of the world. And if you are a journalist, our new Press Room feature will assist you in identifying experts and booking interviews.
  • Not only can you connect with current scholars, but you can also learn about former scholars and their recent activities.
  • You can learn about the latest events taking place at the Wilson Center, the vast majority of which are open to the public.
  • If you can’t join us in person, you’ll be able to watch live webcasts of panel discussions, book launches, and other programs and events. And you can also watch and listen to our vast archive of past events.
  • We’ll provide the latest schedule updates on our award-winning TV/radio program, dialogue, and also provide you with access to recent and past programs.
  • We’ve made it easier to share nearly anything on the site through social media and e-mail, and you can also follow along with new RSS feeds. Look for familiar logos across the site for tips on how to connect with us through Facebook, Twitter, and other social communities.
  • And if you’d like to become even more involved in our work, you’ll find information on how to join the Wilson Council and other ways to support the work of the Center.

We’ve combined the latest in web technology and innovative design to provide you with the online tools you need to join us as we connect the dots between the best and most vital research and the major policy discussions and debates of our times. Your participation in the dialogue of democracy is just a click away!
