Kurt Maier is a Docent at the Library of Congress.

Thomas Jefferson's book collection formed the core of the Library of Congress when it was just established 200 years ago. Today, Library collections include millions of volumes and a myriad of activities. There is still, however, a broad Jeffersonian tone to the intellectual activity of this now world-wide institution. Kurt Maier conducts an audio tour of the Library's building and its holdings.
