Canada's Federal Elections: Issues, Projections, and Implications for Hemispheric Relations

With the upcoming Canadian elections approaching, the Canada Institute co-hosted an event with Canadian Council for the Americas and Council of the Americas to give Canadian and US stakeholders insights into the federal election. Panelists Nik Nanos gave a twenty minute discussion of the most up to date polling data, and explained the trend of conservative growth in numbers over the past few days. Afterwards, Laura Dawson led a discussion with Yanik Dumont-Baron, Kenneth Frankel, and Jonathan Kay on the key issues that candidates are facing and how the provinces are responding to these issues.
