The Canada Institute co-sponsored the conference "Canadian Water: Towards a Strategy," held at McGill University, on March 25 and 26. David Biette, director of the Canada Institute, moderated a panel on international water issues. Notable speakers included the Honorable Jim Prentice, Minister of the Environment, Environment Canada and The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador & President, Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment.
