Overview

The Lithuanian Parliament has designated 2020 as the "Year of the Vilna Gaon and the History of the Jews of Lithuania." To mark the beginning of these commemorative events, please join us for a conversation between celebrated Lithuanian poet, scholar, and former Soviet dissident Tomas Venclova and U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Vadim Altskan and Ina Navazelskis. The Lithuanian Ambassador to the United States H.E. Rolandas Krisciunas will provide opening remarks.

The event will be followed by a light reception.
