Overview

Last week, the first peace talks between the Ethiopian government and Tigrayan regional authorities began in South Africa and extended into this week. Ms. Faith Mabera (Senior Researcher at the Institute for Global Dialogue) joins the Africa Program’s Senior Program Associate, Ms. Hannah Akuiyibo, for a Twitter Spaces conversation on the outcome of the African Union-brokered talks, their implications, and the way forward in the conflict.
