Overview

A career in public service offers the opportunity to help build a prosperous and sustainable America, but today’s rising leaders in face tough choices in pursuing their careers. They must balance pursuing their passion, having a positive impact, and finding opportunities to advance and take on leadership roles.

The members of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation’s 2018 class of Leadership Fellows have confronted these choices in a varieties of ways during their careers. Join us and interns from across Washington, DC to talk with the fellows about their experiences and the challenges and opportunities of public service.

Global Risk and Resilience Program

The Global Risk and Resilience Program (GRRP) seeks to support the development of inclusive, resilient networks in local communities facing global change. By providing a platform for sharing lessons, mapping knowledge, and linking people and ideas, GRRP and its affiliated programs empower policymakers, practitioners, and community members to participate in the global dialogue on sustainability and resilience.
