Russia in the Middle East: A View from Israel

Since Russia entered the Syrian conflict in September 2015, it has positioned itself as a major player in the region. Israel, in particular, has had to contend with Russia’s presence directly across its border. How does Israel perceive Russia’s influence in the region? How does it impact Israel’s ability to maintain its security interests? The speakers will address these questions and related issues.
