Overview

Please join the Wilson Center for the opening of SEEWAY, an exhibit from celebrated, contemporary Canadian artist Wanda Koop. SEEWAY is a luminous collection of images reflecting Koop's journey down the Saint Lawrence Seaway. 

The exhibit is open to the public and can be viewed from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, from March 23-May 15, 2015 at the Wilson Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C.

Wanda Koop is one of Canada's most important and inventive contemporary artists. Her career spans over four decades and includes more than 50 major solo exhibitions, nationally and internationally. The National Gallery of Canada and the Winnipeg Art Gallery exhibited a comprehensive survey of her work from 2010 to 2011. For more of Koop's work, please visit her website.

This exhibit will be held in conjunction with an exhibit of additional works by Wanda Koop at the Embassy of Canada. The Embassy will host the exhibit in its gallery from March 17 to September 4, 2015.
