The Mexico Institute was privileged to host a discussion with Enrique Peña Nieto, the former governor of the State of Mexico. Mr. Peña Nieto is the former governor of the State of Mexico and is a leading voice within in the PRI party and Mexican politics.

This discussion with the former governor was a unique opportunity to hear from the former governor in a talk entitled, "The Mexico of Today". In the time since his visit to the Woodrow Wilson Center, Mr. Peña Nieto has formally become the PRI's candidate in the upcoming 2012 presidential race in Mexico.
