Full Biography
A career diplomat, Ambassador Marcos Galvão was Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington, International Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, and Ambassador to Japan. He led Brazil's Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organization prior to taking his current position in Brasilia as Secretary General of the Brazilian Minister of External Relations (Deputy Foreign Minister).
