Awatif Al Jishi

Awatif Al Jashi is the first ever Bahraini woman to join the police force, on November 1st, 1970. She held positions as General Brigadier and Lieutenant in the Bahrain police force and worked on establishing and developing the first family protection unit in Bahrain that launched in 1973. She later held many positions, including head of women police and advisor for women's police affairs at the Ministry of Interior. She has sucessfuly completed serveral training workshops in the United Kingdom focused on security and administration. She completed a bachelors degree in social sciences from Cairo University.
