Benjamin Danso is currently the Director of Research and Training Projects at Kumasi Institute of Tropical Agriculture (KITA) in Ghana. He also teaches Plant Breeding and Seed Systems at Akenten Appiah-Minka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED). Benjamin is the founder of Adom Seeds Company Ltd. in Ghana and has served as consultant on several projects including GIZ's ATVET for Women project, AGRA's Ghana Inclusive Agricultural Transformation project, SNV's GrEEn project, CBT curriculum development among others. Benjamin is an alumnus of YALI RLC West Africa Cohort 5 program. Benjamin received A.G. Leventis and DAAD Scholarships to pursue Master of Philosophy and PhD degrees in 2015 and 2018 respectively both at University of Ghana. Benjamin is a member of the African Plant Breeder's Association and U.S.-Ghana Exchange Program Alumni Association.
