David Szakonyi

David Szakonyi is an assistant professor of political science at George Washington University. His research looks at business-government relations, corruption, and nepotism in Russia. His first book project examineswhen and why businesspeople run for elected office, investigating the consequences for their affiliated firms and society as a whole.
