    Full Biography

    Dr. Mazal Shaul is the Executive Director of WePower – the organization for the Advancement of Women’s Leadership.  Mazal holds a Ph.D. in Supramolecular Chemistry from the Tel Aviv University and throughout her professional life has served in key positions in Management of Research and Development projects in major companies such as Hadassah Ein Kerem’s Cyclotron Unit, Bioline and Teva. As a certified group facilitator, a personal trainer and coacher, Mazal is an Independent Advisor and consultant for the Development of Personal and Community Leadership, lecturing and instructing organizations and institutions on leadership for women, facilitates workshops and training programs on leadership, social involvement, personal development programs and social business initiatives.             Throughout the years, Mazal’s intensive public and municipal activity involves serving a second term as a Council Member and as the local Commissioner for the Advancement of the Status of Women and Gender Equality in Azor. Mazal also founded the branch of the International “Circle Ladies” for local volunteering women and introduced the Women Empowerment Program to her town. She serves as the Chair of Azor’s Emmanuel Regional Community Center and the Chairperson of its Parents Committee. She is a board member in the board of director of Azor’s Economic company and Head of Gender Equality Promotion in her hometown. As Executive Director of WePower, a non-partisan Israeli NGO helping women train and reach public and political leadership positions in Israel, Mazal was a featured speaker in 2018 and 2019 at the UN’s Conference on the Status of Women (CSW). In 2019, she participated as a member of the Israeli Mission to the UN’s delegation. In her “spare time” Mazal is involved in the development and production of the original play called "Arise to Be"– the story of "completely ordinary" women which, played in major theaters, is an inspiration for all women around the country.   Mazal is married and has 3 children.  Tel: 972-54-8085691                                          Email: dr.mazalshaul@ken.org.il
