Gisella de Morais Vieira holds a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Forensics and Criminality from the University of Southern California (USC). During her time at USC, she interned with the non-profit organization Vote Smart, where she researched policy positions of elected officials and candidates. Additionally, she taught local high school students in Los Angeles as a volunteer instructor with the Teaching International Relations Program.
Currently, she is in the second year of her master’s program in International Relations. As a dual citizen of Brazil and the United States, Gisella lived and worked as an English teacher in Salvador, Brazil prior to beginning her graduate studies. After returning from Salvador to her hometown of Los Angeles, she relocated once again and is currently conducting research for her masters thesis at the University of Lisbon.
