Senior Advisor, Department of the U.S. Air Force’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration, and Requirements

Full Biography

She is an Arctic regional expert, responsible for developing the Department of the Air Force’s Arctic Strategy including advising on strategic initiatives, operations, and international partnerships related to the region.

Prior to her current position, she served as Senior Advisor to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and as a Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment, and Energy, focusing on energy security, resilience, and sustainability policies.
Ms. Ferguson also served for the Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, structuring and implementing the first federal investment promotion program, SelectUSA; and as a national security and foreign policy legislative aide for then Senator Joseph Biden on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. She holds an MA in International Economics and Relations from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a BA from the University of Arkansas.
