Jodi White is Distinguished Senior Fellow at Carleton University in Ottawa and the president of Sydney House Consultants. Her career spans senior positions in journalism, government and the private sector. She previously was the president of the Public Policy Forum, one of Canada's foremost public policy think tanks which aims to bridge the policy divide between the private sector and the public sector with special emphasis on the public service. White is the first woman in Canadian history to lead a national election campaign when she directed the 1997 national campaign of then Progressive Conservative leader Jean Charest. And she is the only woman to have served as chief of staff to a Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Kim Campbell in 1993. Ms. White was a public policy scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center in 2009. Over the years she has served on numerous not-for-profit boards and currently sits on the boards of the Canadian International Council, Action Canada and is chair of Tides Canada.
