Kimberly Bullard

Full Biography

Kimberly Bullard is the Mexico Institute’s Graduate Research Intern. Prior to joining the Wilson Center, she worked as a Research Assistant at George Washington University’s Institute for International Economic Policy (IIEP). She also served as a research associate and an editor at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs (COHA). In addition to her wide-ranging academic research in the United States, she has lived in Argentina and Brazil. Kimberly’s research covers economic development and democracy, trade, U.S.-Mexican relations, corruption, human rights, and social movements. She is a M.A. candidate in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and earned a Graduate Certificate in International Affairs from American University. Kimberly has a B.A. in Spanish Literature and Linguistics and a minor in General Linguistics from the University of California at Davis, where she focused on Latin American and Caribbean cultures. She has also completed postgraduate studies in international affairs, public policy, economics, and applied linguistics in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. She is fluent in Spanish.
