Nicolas Otte

Nicolas is the regional Director Illicit Trade Prevention for Philip Morris International (PMI) for the Latin America and Canada region.

Nicolas has dedicated almost his entire professional career to the fight against illicit trade. He joined PMI in 2004 and was previously based in Switzerland, Morocco and Hong Kong where was leading the Company’s programs against illicit trade for the Africa, Near-East and Asia-Pacific regions. He assumed his current role in May 2016 and works closely with government agencies and the business community in tackling the significant challenges generated by the trafficking of illicit goods, including from regulatory, enforcement or communications perspectives.

Nicolas holds a Master of Science in Management from France’s EMLYON Business School and completed the International MBA program of the LingNan MBA Center at ZhongShan University in GuangZhou (PRC).
