Full Biography

Susan Reisler is a Vice President at Media Profile, Canada’s largest employee-owned  communications firm. She became a public relations practitioner following a 25-year career as a foreign correspondent, journalist, host and producer in television and radio at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Since 2000, Susan has used her communications skills and experience to provide strategic advice and planning to professional, corporate, government and not-for-profit clients. She is involved at the most senior levels in everything from crisis communications support to drafting news releases and media relations. She can draw on a vast network of contacts, built up over decades of work in Ottawa, Toronto, Washington and across Canada. Susan maintains an active interest in current events at home and around the world. Aside from her work on the Advisory Board of the Canada Institute, she is a founding member of the Canadian Committee of Human Rights Watch, a board member of Transparency International (Canada), a member of the Canadian Journalists for Free Expression Awards Dinner Committee and the Literary Review of Canada (LRC) Advisory Board.
