Full Biography

Tatiana Rosito is a Brazilian economist and senior diplomat with over 25 years of experience in the public sector and international organizations. She worked for more than twelve years in Asia, where she was Senior Consultant at the New Development Bank in Shangai (2020-2022) and Chief Representative of Petrobras in China and General Manager of Business Development in Asia (2017- 2019). Prior to that, she was Minister Counselor at the Brazilian Embassy in Beijing (2009- 2014) and Counselor at the Brazilian Embassy in Singapore (2006-2009), with a primary role in the commercial and economic-financial areas. In Brazil (2014-2107), she was Executive Secretary of the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Presidency of the Republic (CAMEX) and Special Advisor to the Ministers of Planning and Finance. At the Ministry of Finance, she worked together with other areas of government and the private sector to define the Brazilian NDC in the context of climate change negotiations that culminated in the Paris Agreement (2015). Previously, she was Advisor to the Chief Minister of the Civil House (1999-2002). As a Brazilian delegate to the United Nations (2003-2004), she served on the Second Committee (economic-financial issues), representing Brazil in negotiations related to the then Millennium Development Goals, development financing, combating poverty, South-South cooperation, international financial system and UN executive agencies. Tatiana is a Senior Fellow at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI)- -where she created and coordinated the China Analysis Group--, a member of the Consultative Committee of the China-Brazil Business Council (CBBC) and a member of the Wong MNC Centre Advisory Board. She holds a master's degree in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and an Executive MBA from INSEAD and Tsinghua University. She graduated in economics from UFRJ and took a specialization course at UnB.
