Full Biography

Virginia Cady was the Program Assistant for Communications for the Africa Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars until December 2015. She has past experience working with a variety of non-profits in the international affairs field to improve their social media and other forms of online presence, as well as conducting outreach and event management. Virginia also has extensive experience conducting research and analysis on a variety of international affairs issues including for the U.S. Army War College Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute. She has spent time in Morocco studying issues related to security and Moroccan politics. She has a limited working proficiency in both French and Arabic. She obtained her B.A. in International Studies and Middle East Studies with a minor in Arabic from Dickinson College. Virginia graduated Cum Laude and is a member of the International Studies honor society Sigma Iota Rho.
