Wilson Center Celebrates Women's History Month 2023

The Wilson Center is proud to celebrate Women’s History Month. Throughout the month of March, the Center will feature content that examines the role of women throughout history and in current foreign policy.

The 2023 Women’s History Month theme is “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.” According to the National Women’s History Alliance, “The timely theme honors women in every community who have devoted their lives and talents to producing art, pursuing truth, and reflecting the human condition decade after decade.”

We recognize the historic and current contributions women have made through their own stories and the stories of others’—stories that inspire ground-breaking research and life-changing policies to ensure a more secure, equitable, and prosperous world. To that end, in March of 2022 the Wilson Center launched a Gender Inclusion Programming Policy to reflect our commitment to increasing gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in think tanks.
