WASHINGTON – The Wilson Center Board of Trustees held a special session on Thursday to endorse a partnership with the Smithsonian Institution, announced specific actions to enhance diversity and inclusion, and address President Wilson’s legacy on race.

“We are excited to partner with the Smithsonian on their new race initiative under the leadership of Secretary Lonnie Bunch.  His scholarship and role in building and leading the National Museum of African American History and Culture will make our collaboration even more significant,” said former Congresswoman Jane Harman, President & CEO of The Wilson Center.

The Board’s actions are available here.
